Our Funds
Phoenix Equity Partners was founded in 2001 and is an independent organisation owned by its executives. Phoenix manages capital on behalf of institutional, corporate and other investors from the UK, Continental Europe, North America and the Middle East.
In June 2010, Phoenix raised Phoenix Equity Partners 2010 LP, a £450m 10 year fund, from 31 investors.
Phoenix seeks to invest principally in UK-headquartered businesses valued at between £20 million and £200 million. We invest in businesses where we believe private equity funding and management excellence can drive significant and sustainable growth in both revenues and profitability.
Phoenix has raised three funds and invested in 28 companies since its formation in 2001, and expects to hold portfolio investments for, on average, between three and five years. Its current portfolio consists of 14 businesses, employing in aggregate over 8,000 staff and generating over £1 billion in revenues.
