Helen was born in Scotland in 1977 and was educated at Lockerbie Academy and Aberdeen University where she achieved First Class Honours in Divinity.  She joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant.  From there, Helen joined KPMG and worked in Strategic and Commercial Intelligence within the Transaction Services group.  In 2004, Helen joined Phoenix and worked in the Deal Origination team.
 
In July 2005, aged 28, Helen lost her life in the London bombings.  Helen made a valuable and lasting contribution to Phoenix during her time with the firm.  She had a lively and enquiring mind and was extremely popular.  Both professionally and personally, Helen is greatly missed.
