The Travel Chapter (www.travelchapter.co.uk), a leading provider of holiday lettings in the UK backed by Phoenix Equity Partners (“Phoenix”), is pleased to announce the acquisition of Bramley & Teal, a leading holiday lettings agent in Sussex and Kent. This is Travel Chapter’s 4th acquisition this year, and third since Phoenix invested. Previous acquisitions include Sugar & Loaf in Wales, Peak Cottages and New Forest Living.
Combined, these acquisitions have added almost 400 properties to the Travel Chapter collection and, with organic growth, mean the Travel Chapter now has over 3,000 high quality self-catering properties registered. In addition, trading at the Travel Chapter continues to be very strong, with year to date bookings up 28% on last year.
Jamie Morris, CEO, commented: “We are delighted to have acquired Bramley & Teal, which we believe is one of the leading brands in the South East. It is a popular short break destination and strategic area for Travel Chapter to have a presence. We are excited about the prospect of working with the Bramley & Teal owners to continue to deliver an excellent service in the region. The acquisition comes on the back of an exciting 6 months for Travel Chapter, during which the business has continued to go from strength to strength, with Phoenix’s support.”
