Gall Thomson acquires AVALON technology

Gall Thomson Environmental Limited (“GTE”), a leading company within the Signum Technology Limited group (“Signum”) has acquired the intellectual property rights of Avalon Engineering Solutions Limited (“Avalon”).

The intellectual property rights acquired centre on the innovative release-on-command fastener systems developed by Avalon and applied by them to systems such as tandem mooring emergency release systems, mid water arch failure warning systems and the Trubhor release on command system.

Signum is a market leading group of specialised engineering businesses operating in the safety and critical service flow control sectors with a particular focus on the oil, gas and LNG industries. Signum’s vision is to build a family of quality, market leading businesses through investment in new products, acquisition and innovation.
